Varsity Score vs BT Volleyball Camera
(2026).
Two iPhone and iPad apps that put the score on volleyball video. Here is where they overlap and where they differ.
BT Volleyball Camera is the closest direct competitor we know of: a volleyball app that records with a score overlay. Choose BT if you want timers, branding watermarks and ad images. Choose Varsity Score if you want a public watch page, kept replays and a volleyball-first scoreboard in one app.
What the BT app is.
BT Volleyball Camera is published by The Basketball Temple LLC. Its App Store listing describes it as a way to record volleyball games with a score overlay, with set, score and timeout timers and brand overlays on top of the video. It lists livestream options, all-in-one score control inside the app, and an optional BT Volleyball Controller as a remote.
It also lists custom branding watermarks, team logos and custom advertisement images during breaks. It connects to a separate app, BT Volleyball Scoreboard, which syncs time and score across devices. That scoreboard app lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remote control, customizable timers, an Apple Watch companion and use on large tablets or external displays and projectors.
Varsity Score does the same core job: it records on iPhone or iPad and burns the set score, team names and set number into the video. It adds a public watch page at varsityscoreapp.com/watch and a built-in Score-Only Mode.
